Better Education for Better World
Better Education for Better World
We are a bilingual educational center (中英文双语学校), providing PreSchool and After-School Programs in English and Mandarin Chinese. Established in 2016 in Lake Oswego, our center has grown continuously to provide new learning experiences for young children who are also interested in culture immersion within the early stages of their education.
¶ We are deeply devoted to our students and their educational journeys to develop themselves as well-rounded individuals in our contemporary world. Our methodology of early education is effective; children are better prepared for their future academic careers when enriched with language, critical-thinking, and behavioral skills.
¶ Furthermore, we offer a wide-range of engaging programs that appeal to young children; from activities pro bilingual communication to interactive lessons in Art, Nature and Science, we take on a more hand-on approach in the learning classroom and field.
“Specific hands-on activities we offer include art lessons in which children draw and paint under the guidance of our art teacher, gardening lessons in the garden field to learn the full cycle of growing and cultivating plants from seeds, food lessons to learn how to make easy snacks and Chinese food, and so much more…”
¶ At the Lake Learning Center, we are always engaging our students to practice teamwork and collaboration, regardless of the activity.
¶ We believe in our motto: Better Education for a Better World.

A Pictorial Introduction of Our School
Designed as a bilingual school where students are taught both Chinese and English, we enhance their learning environment with numerous activities and practical daily skills, such as arts & crafts.
There is a Reading Room that gives children the dedicated space for focused reading under teachers’ instruction. We offer bilingual books for all ages. Children also read books for pleasure in this room.
Our school has a large lawn area for children’s outdoor activities. It is fully fenced (on four sides) for the safety of children. Children use it for motor development as well as to spend recess there.
In the school, children learn about “gardening” in the Garden Field by planting seeds in the Spring to the pick-up of ripe vegetables and fruits in the Fall.
